Our Mission
Our mission is to cover the industries reshaping the next decade with editorial-grade reporting built for operators, builders, marketers, and the teams behind real products.
What We Stand For
MagTimes exists to give the people actually doing the work — engineers, founders, marketers, and operators — a publication that respects their time and their intelligence. We don’t write for the algorithm. We don’t write to please the platforms. We write to inform the work.
That means original reporting, sourced and reviewed, written by people who have shipped the things they cover. It means treating our readers like adults: no listicles for SEO, no rewritten press releases, no fake stats to dress up a weak story.
How We Operate
Independence
MagTimes is editorially independent. We do not accept payment for coverage. We do disclose commercial relationships when they exist.
Sourcing
Every claim in every story is traceable. When we cite a stat, we link the source. When we quote someone, we name them.
Reviews
Every story passes through at least one editor and one subject-matter reviewer before publication. We don’t ship until we’re confident.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections are visible, dated, and linked from the original story.
What We Won’t Do
- We won’t rewrite press releases and pass them off as journalism.
- We won’t run listicles designed to game search rankings.
- We won’t fabricate stats, quote invented experts, or pad stories to hit a word count.
- We won’t accept payment to publish or suppress a story.
What We Will Do
- Publish original reporting on AI, software, crypto, business operations, and the SEO industry.
- Cover the people and teams actually shipping, not the loudest voices on social media.
- Treat our readers’ time as the most valuable thing we have.
- Be honest about what we know, what we don’t, and what we’re still figuring out.
